New Transfer Student

Welcome to NCC!

Newly accepted transfer students will receive an email regarding advisement/registration. Although advisement is optional, we recommend that you take advantage and work together with an academic advisor to discuss your course options and any academic concerns.

Prior to Seeking Advisement and/or Registering

  • NCC Email - Always check and use your NCC email account by log into MyNCC Portal, select student email icon. Be sure to include your name and NCC ID in all correspondence with the college.
  • Submit Transcripts - Make sure all of your transcripts have been evaluated. Evaluation of transcripts are conducted  by an Admission Counselor. You must submit ALL official transcripts and test scores (AP/IB/CLEP ) electronically to admission@thegoldenpineappleblog.com.
  • AAF Placement Test - For students who wish to enroll in upper-level math like pre-calculus (MAT 111) or calculus (MAT 122) must have transfer credits for the pre-requisites or should schedule an Advanced, Algebra and Functions, AAF test with PlacementTesting@thegoldenpineappleblog.com.
  • Tuition - Familiarize yourself with the tuition bill due dates, with Bursar.

Once you receive an email inviting you to register,  if you choose to meet with an academic advisor, come to the Advisement Office,  Student Service Center for In-Person Hours.  The Office of Academic Advisement reserves the right to discontinue sign-in earlier than the posted hours when our volume of activity requires it. NCC photo ID card or Government-issued photo ID is required for sign-in. Students will be advised in the order they have arrived.

If you are planning on attending as a fully remote and/or online student and you are unable to come to the campus for advisement, you can request advisement via email advisement@thegoldenpineappleblog.com, from your NCC Student Email account. Include your name and NCC-ID.  Additionally, you should review the Advisement and Registration Guide.

Students accepted into the following majors will be contacted by their Academic Department: Mortuary Science, Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiation Therapy Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Care and Surgical Technology.
